Occupational Health and Safety

Safety in the workplace

Since 2018, the DENIOS Group's production sites have held regular occupational health and safety briefings throughout the year. In addition to this, weekly safety walks are carried out in our production halls, the results of which are documented and used to define concrete measures. All our production companies regularly exchange data on these findings. In Germany, we have a Work Safety Committee (ASA) that meets once per quarter to draw up and initiate additional accident prevention measures. In addition to this, the accident-free days are recorded and communicated, and every accident that occurs is discussed in 'shop floor management' to foster awareness of hazards amongst our employees and prevent repeat occurrences.

On 26 July 2023, we were even able to celebrate the milestone of 2,500 accident-free days with our Dehme logistics centre. In recognition of this great achievement, the colleagues were given a breakfast together, a certificate, Amazon vouchers and jars of our DENIOS honey.

The table below illustrates the impact of the measures we have introduced and shows how we have been able to reduce the number of days lost due to accidents during the reporting period.
