About this report

DENIOS published its first sustainability report in April 2018, after which the reporting period was carried out on a two-year cycle. The current report includes the results of our previous sustainability reports and continues them accordingly, with the aim of providing transparency for our stakeholders on the sustainability work we do as a company. If you have any questions regarding this report, our designated liaison, Horst Rose (Managing Director and member of the CSR team), will be happy to help.

DENIOS SE's sustainability report has been prepared in line with the internationally recognised standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). In addition to this, our report also includes a number of other topics in order to ensure that our stakeholders are as well-informed as possible. The GRI index for detailed information is at the end of the report. Once again, this report was reviewed by GUTcert, an independent management systems certification company based in Berlin.

In order to minimise our ecological footprint, we have opted for a digital version of the report. In each of the chapters, the company DENIOS is introduced: We take a detailed look at the topic of sustainability, explain our strategy and also describe our stakeholder analysis.

On 29 December 2021, DENIOS AG changed its legal form, now operating as DENIOS SE (European public limited company). The SE legal structure provides the solid foundation for international, market-oriented and future-proof development and underscores our long-term and sustainable growth strategy. This transformation also involved an adjustment to the company structure. Since 1 January 2022, all our holding companies have been operating as affiliate companies of the DENIOS Group.

The subject of this report is the German DENIOS company, including the in-house agency DENIOS direct GmbH, and our largest production sites in France, the Czech Republic and Italy. Together, these locations account for a good 75% of our workforce.

Employees

The number of our employees is stated in FTE (full time equivalent). For us, the word employee covers all genders (male, female, non-binary) and the entire workforce, which is divided into salaried employees and industrial workers. Only all temporary workers are excluded. Besides full-time employees, the number also includes part-time employees.
