The production processes for DENIOS room systems have been altered dramatically over the course of the last few years, being switched from welding to laser/edge and riveting technology. Thanks to the new design of fire protection rooms and system containers, it has been possible to conserve approx. 500 kg of steel per room system. These two types account for around 60% of our production volume. With an average of 1,350 systems produced per year, this is equivalent to approx. 800 systems at the sites listed below and thus a savings of 300 t of steel. This design forms the basis for future new developments.

Since we only produce our plastic products in Germany, this is the only country with figures for granulate consumption. The increase in granulate consumption since 2021 can be explained by the rise in sales volumes and the shift in the product mix – towards larger-volume products – which also results in higher material consumption.
